Education

Education extends beyond the classroom in Ridgefield’s community, through interactive learning experiences and field trips to local sites rich with history. But one of the town’s hidden gems is its continuing education program, open to adults 18 years of age or older and offering programs ranging from computer training to gardening to SAT prep. Classes begin year round.

Athletics

Opportunities for recreation abound in Ridgefield, starting with Little League and Biddy Ball in kindergarten and running all the way to high school sports with competition at the state, regional and even national level.
Adults can find ways to play too, from drop-in basketball run by Ridgefield Parks and Recreation to participating in the town’s annual triathlon, a combination of a half-mile swim, a 14-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
