Ridgefield Singer/Songwriter Kevin Briody Wins Another Emmy!

briodystoryThe 36th annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles and Kevin Briody won a second Emmy for his original song “We All Fall Down”.  Briody composed the song for ABC’s One Life To Live and won in the category of Outstanding Original Song for a Drama Series.

The awards recognize the best in all creative components of daytime television.  Alex Trebek, the host of the popular “Jeopardy!” was last night’s emcee.

Kevin and Lynne are presently en-route back to Ridgefield.  Congratulations Kevin!

Where Did Oliver Barrett Fine Stationers Go?

Upon driving down Danbury Road, I noticed that “Oliver Barrett” was vacant.

Well, the good news is, they have NOT closed their doors, just moved a few doors down and changed their name.   They will soon be located in Copps Hill Commons at 109 Danbury Road and will now be known as Ink Stationers. Oliver Barrett So, no need to worry about where you will order those invitations, Christmas cards, or birth announcements.  They are in Ridgefield to stay. Whew!
