The Big Lamp

On a morning like today, with snow suddenly falling down out of nowhere (was in the forecast???) the house feels sad and dark and I am really ready for Spring. Spring like in: more light and no more of 3 layers of sweaters and wool cable Uggs worn at home.
So it made me very happy to find this picture. How big is this lamp? And how cool? Is that a forest painted inside it? I guess it can not only illuminate a city block or two but also gives warmth! I want to be under this thing!
The best part? It is the main attraction of an otherwise minimalist interior of a London chocolate shop Artisans Du Chocolat. Enjoy!
