There are many different ways to choose a wine for Easter; A nice light and crisp white wine for the spring, or a sweeter or heavier wine for the salty ham.
A lighter white wine such as Gruner Veltliner or Sauvignon Blanc is perfect for the season. With temperatures rising, this style of wine is truly refreshing. The other great quality about this wine is the floral and bright citrus notes that pair perfectly with lighter foods such as seafood and salads.

Letterboxing is a fantastic family activity for spring!
My kids and I were hiking the other day and reminiscing about the amazing time we had last fall exploring wooded trails all over Ridgefield in search of letterboxes which were hidden as part of Ridgefield’s 300th anniversary celebration. What fun we had! It added an abundance of enthusiasm, education and history to our hikes. And it got me thinking…we don’t need a 300th anniversary to letterbox. This activity has been around for centuries and there are 5000 boxes scattered throughout the country just waiting to be found, 17 of which are right here in Ridgefield. What’s …

According to a study performed by Webmd, skipping breakfast becomes more common among teenage girls as they get older.
Do you eat breakfast in the morning? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or at least that’s what everyone tells you. There are many students or adults don’t even have breakfast in the morning. We, personally, know that most of our friends go to school on an empty stomach.
We have ways to make breakfast in less than five minutes in the rush of the morning.
Smoothies are an easy, quick, and simple option. Others recipes are still healthy and good, but this …
